Grierson, a pole dancer, auditioned for the show and joined girlband Husstle after Simon Cowell suggested that they needed a bit more sex appeal.
"We were shocked, but Simon said it was more marketable with Sam - it adds a bit of spice," recalls Husstle's leader Stacey Camps. "I just think there's more eye candy isn't there? Sam's hard working and looks good in the band. It just finishes it off. We look tighter and the routines look better."
